Description

The Corporate Medical Sales Trainer is responsible for driving the development and performance of the sales force within the rapidly evolving integrative medical therapies space. This position bridges conventional and complementary medicine, leveraging technology to maximize training impact, and equips the sales team with the tools to effectively educate healthcare providers on evidence-based, preventive, and longevity-focused treatment approaches.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technology-driven training programs and digital content, including e-learning modules, microlearning, and gamified assessments for medical sales representatives specializing in integrative therapies.
  • Deliver hybrid training across virtual platforms, learning management systems, and in-person sessions covering product applications, consultative selling, and integrative medicine foundations.
  • Develop certification pathways to validate sales representatives' clinical knowledge and proficiency with digital sales tools.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on integrative therapy products, bridging conventional and functional medicine philosophies to translate complex clinical concepts into compelling sales narratives.
  • Drive the adoption of the sales technology stack including CRM platforms, digital detailing tools, and AI analytics; and train the team on data-driven selling strategies.
  • Utilize learning analytics and CRM field data to assess training effectiveness, report ROI, and design targeted coaching interventions.
  • Ensure all training programs strictly adhere to regulatory compliance for supplements, off-label discussions, and medical device applications.
  • Partner collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and IT teams to align training initiatives with broader business strategies.
Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Integrative Medicine, Business, Instructional Design, or a related field. It demands a minimum of five to seven years of successful medical sales experience within integrative medicine, nutraceuticals, regenerative therapies, or wellness technologies, paired with at least three years of dedicated training, coaching, or sales enablement experience. The role relies on a proven track record of designing technology-enhanced learning programs and advanced proficiency with digital presentation platforms. Furthermore, it requires exceptional communication skills, an analytical approach to data-driven training design, and the operational flexibility to travel for field training and national sales meetings while managing virtual sessions across various time zones.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree (MS, MBA) or formal certification in Functional Medicine or Integrative Health.
  • Virtual & Digital Mastery: Expert-level utilization of virtual training platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx), e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and video editing software.
  • LMS Administration: Extensive experience managing, creating content for, and analyzing data from Learning Management Systems.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Experience utilizing Salesforce for sales activity tracking, reporting, and dashboard creation, along with familiarity with AppExchange enablement tools.
  • Integrative Medicine Integration: Deep operational understanding of how complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) integrates into conventional healthcare settings.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational oversight utilizing tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to manage multiple digital projects simultaneously.
